Free monthly payment & finance calculators

Work out what a loan really costs each month, what regular investing grows into, and whether you are on track for retirement — with charts, full breakdowns and no sign-up.

Which calculator do you need?

Most money questions come down to one of four shapes, and each has its own tool here.

“What will this cost me each month?” — the mortgage and loan calculator. It handles any amortizing loan, not just mortgages: car finance, personal loans, an Indian home loan EMI. It also shows the total interest, which is the number lenders are least keen to advertise.

“What will this grow into?” — the compound interest calculator. Set a monthly contribution and a horizon, and it separates the money you contributed from the growth it produced.

“Will I have enough?” — the retirement calculator. It compares your projection against an inflation-adjusted target derived from the income you actually want.

“How much per month to reach X?” — the savings goal calculator. It works backwards from a fixed target and date to the contribution required.

How these differ from most calculators

Three deliberate choices. Every assumption is an input you control rather than a constant hidden in the code — inflation, expected return and withdrawal rate are all yours to set, because a calculator that hides them is telling you what to think. Results are shown as charts and full year-by-year tables, not a single number, since the shape of a repayment or a growth curve carries more information than its endpoint. And nothing you type leaves your device.
